How verification works here

One operator. No abstraction layer.

Kavia is a single-operator service. There is no dispatcher, no franchise, and no internal team between the credentials above and the person they belong to.

That structure is what makes verification direct. Each credential is tied to one individual. State registration, insurance coverage, and background screening all reference the same name.

The person behind those records is the person who handles your procedure day.

Clear scope · No drift

What I do, and what I won't claim to do.

Kavia is a non-clinical companion service for outpatient procedure days. Knowing the boundaries in advance is part of how trust is established.

✓ What I do

  • Pick you up at your door for outpatient procedure day
  • Check you in as your registered responsible adult
  • Stay through the full procedure at a flat rate
  • Take discharge instructions from nursing staff
  • Make a pharmacy stop on the way home
  • Walk you inside and confirm you're settled

✗ What I never do

  • Provide medical care or medical advice
  • Administer or dispense medications
  • Perform wound care or vital-sign monitoring
  • Override or interpret discharge instructions
  • Replace home health or long-term in-home services

If anything you need is in the right column, I'll tell you up front and point you to someone who can help.

What if I am the problem

Your procedure day is planned with backup coverage in mind.

Kavia operates on a continuity-first model. Your booking is only confirmed when coverage is available.

If I am unavailable for your date at the time of booking, you are notified promptly and reimbursed immediately.

If I become unavailable after confirmation due to illness or emergency, Kavia maintains trained backup companions who may be deployed if needed. Where a backup is deployed, your facility is briefed in advance.

If coverage ultimately cannot be provided, you receive a full refund for the affected service.

Skeptic Questions

What people ask before trusting Kavia with their procedure day.

Yes. Kavia is operated by me, Peter Zadecki. I handle booking, facility coordination, pickup, check-in, on-site waiting, discharge handoff, pharmacy stop, and drop-off. The person you speak to is the person who shows up. No dispatch system, no staffing pool, no rotation.

Kavia maintains backup coverage procedures to help prevent disruption to your procedure day. If I am unavailable due to illness or emergency, Kavia will make commercially reasonable efforts to deploy a trained backup companion under the same general terms. Where a backup is deployed, your facility is briefed in advance. If backup coverage cannot be provided, or if you'd prefer not to proceed with a backup companion, you'll receive a full refund for the affected service.

Search "Kavia Health LLC" in the Florida AHCA public provider verifier at apps.ahca.myflorida.com. Registration No. 241656 will show active status and program classification under Homemaker & Companion Services. The state record is the source of truth.

Kavia is a single-operator companion service registered under Florida's Homemaker & Companion Services program. Home care agencies typically operate under broader home health licensing and assign rotating staff based on availability. Kavia does not rotate staff — one person handles the entire procedure day from start to finish.

Only briefly, if needed. At pickup, I meet you at the door. At drop-off, I walk you inside and confirm you are settled, then leave.

Only the information needed to coordinate your day is collected: contact details, facility, procedure date, and emergency contact. No medical records are stored. Information is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted.

Yes — the number on this page reaches me directly. You can ask anything about logistics, facility coordination, insurance, or how the procedure-day workflow works. There is no booking pressure. If it's not a fit, that's a valid outcome.

If everything above checks out, booking takes five minutes.

Tell me about your procedure. I'll confirm same day.
