Why I'm a fit for Port Richey bookings.

Port Richey is home base. If your procedure is here, in Hudson, or at Bayonet Point — the drive is short, the routine is familiar, and same-day or next-day bookings are usually possible.

  1. 01

Same-day or next-day availability is realistic

If you're in Port Richey and a colonoscopy got rescheduled to tomorrow morning, call me. I can usually accommodate Port Richey bookings on shorter notice than other cities.

  2. 02

I know the US-19 medical corridor

Most Port Richey patients I work with are at Bayonet Point, Suncoast Eye Center, or one of the smaller specialty practices off US-19. Familiar routes, familiar parking, familiar staff at the most-used facilities.

  3. 03

    Hyper-local routing

Port Richey to NPR is 5 minutes if you know which back roads the snowbirds aren't on at 7 AM. I do.

Peter, founder of Kavia — colonoscopy companion serving Pasco & Pinellas County
Your Companion

Hi, I'm Peter.

I run Kavia personally. I'm the one who shows up — not a dispatcher, not a rotating contractor.

I'm AHCA-registered, insured, and background-checked. I live in Port Richey and work directly with outpatient surgery patients across Pasco & Pinellas.

On your day, my role is the responsible adult your facility wrote into your prep packet — pickup, check-in, the wait, discharge, pharmacy, home.

Picking your Port Richey-area facility

Six facilities within 15 minutes of my front door.

Port Richey itself doesn't have an outpatient surgery center inside the city limits — but it sits between two clusters that do. Hudson and Bayonet Point are 5–10 minutes north on US-19. New Port Richey is 5–15 minutes south. I cover all six with the same routine, the same flat rate, and the shortest drive on my entire service map. Here's what's distinctive about each:

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital
On US-19 in Hudson — about 7 minutes from my house. Outpatient surgery registration uses a dedicated entrance, separate from the main hospital lobby and the ER. Earliest check-ins start 5:30 AM. Major hospital program — cataract, GI, orthopedic, general surgery all covered here.
Bayonet Point Surgery & Endoscopy Center
Standalone ASC sharing the Bayonet Point campus on US-19. One of the busiest GI labs in the corridor — heavy colonoscopy and endoscopy volume. Different check-in entrance from the hospital next door; I confirm with the facility the day before so we walk into the right door at the right time.
Suncoast Eye Center
Dedicated ophthalmology center on US-19 in Hudson. Cataract surgery is the dominant procedure. Dilation drops on arrival, patch on at discharge. I take the post-op drop schedule directly from staff at discharge — dilation makes the printed schedule hard to read for several hours.
Morton Plant North Bay Hospital
Hospital in New Port Richey, about 10 minutes south of my house. Outpatient surgery uses the dedicated surgery entrance off Marine Parkway — not the main hospital lobby. Strong program for cataract, GI, and orthopedic outpatient cases. Early-morning check-ins are routine.
Seven Springs Surgery Center
Standalone ASC on Beacon Square Drive in New Port Richey, behind a medical complex. Multi-specialty outpatient. Tight check-in window — they prefer arrivals at the listed time, not earlier. About 12 minutes south of my front door.
Suncoast Specialty Surgery Center
Multi-specialty ASC near the Trinity corridor — about 12–15 minutes east. Smaller volume than the hospital-attached centers, simpler logistics: single building, dedicated parking, predictable check-in routine.

Living in 34668 means I'm equidistant between the Hudson and New Port Richey clusters. Wherever your physician scheduled you, the drive from my house is the shortest on my route — which is why same-day and next-day Port Richey bookings are realistic in a way they aren't elsewhere.

Common Questions

Questions about Port Richey bookings, answered.

Sometimes. If your procedure is tomorrow and I'm not already booked, yes. Port Richey gets priority for short-notice bookings because the drive is zero.

Yes. Bayonet Point is one of my most-covered facilities. I know the parking, the check-in window, the discharge process, and the nursing staff handoff.

Yes. Suncoast Eye Center on US-19 is a regular destination for cataract patients. Pickup, check-in as your responsible adult, drop instructions taken from staff, drive home with the patch on.

No discount, but I'm faster — same-day availability is realistic in Port Richey, and I can usually do a quick in-person consult before your booking if you want one.
